Reporting to the Supplier Quality & Development Manager. This on-site position is based in Torrance, CA (Los Angeles area) and offers a 9/80 work schedule.As Moog strategically increases the quantity of parts it purchases from external Supply Chain partners, there is a critical need for skilled Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure the highest levels of quality and reliability. Supplier Quality Engineers play a vital role in driving continuous improvement within our supply base, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all purchased parts meet stringent aerospace industry standards.Supplier Quality Engineers are involved in all stages of the supplier lifecycle, from initial assessment and selection to ongoing performance monitoring and improvement. They work closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, manufacturing) and external suppliers to establish and maintain robust quality systems that deliver defect-free parts and on-time delivery.The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality principles, robust problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
