Education & Quality Assurance SpecialistAre you driven by a passion to help children? This position will work closely with the Education Administration Registrar and Principal. This position will be responsible for the duties that support best practices in the delivery of services. This role functions under general supervision of the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk & Quality Assurance.Education & Quality Assurance Specialist Responsibilities:Monitor quality standards across the Children's DepartmentIdentify areas of risk and escalate as appropriateConduct auditing and data analysis to support QA initiativesMaintain licensing and accreditation complianceEnsure regulatory and compliance alignmentBehavioral Incident ReviewVideo Review -Review every restraint that occurs in the residence to ensure the safety of clients and staff and to confirm that staff followed trained intervention protocols.Treatment Team Collaboration -Collaborate with each child's treatment team to ensure necessary data is collected accurately and submitted timely.Education Compliance & ReportingOut-of-State Education Management — Gather, compile, and enter data to manage out-of-state education requirements.ESI Notifications — Send ESI notifications to guardians and submit KS ESI reports in accordance with KSDE regulations.School District Renewals — Assist with school district renewals for all states served.Regulatory Knowledge — Maintain a current understanding of, and compliance with, KDADS PRTF, CARF, and KSDE regulationsQuality Assurance & Utilization Review SupportUR/QA Assistance — Assist with internal utilization review and quality assurance efforts.Program Improvement — Help identify barriers and opportunities for program improvement, and work with others to recommend program changes and specific improvements.Licensing & CredentialingCredentialing Tracking — Update and maintain credentialed staff licensing and staffing lists, including tracking AB1172 training dates.An ideal candidate for this position has:Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent customer serviceAbility to complete multiple tasks within a given timeframeAttention to detail and high level of accuracyClear, friendly written and verbal communication skillsCore Work Behaviors:Decision-Making -Make timely decisions in keeping with LMC policies and procedures.Problem Solving -Identify realistic solutions and options for individuals served as needed.Adaptability- Adjust to changes in position.Additional Duties -Complete other job responsibilities as directed by the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Strategy and Quality Assurance.Education & Quality Assurance Specialist Qualifications:Three years experience working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred.Be at least 18+ years of ageOther Job Details:Day Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pmStarting pay: $ 16.50/hourLakemary provides competitive compensation and benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans; paid time off; and a 401(k)-retirement planCertifications:Lakemary provides training in program specific coursework.Special Considerations:Some environments/shifts require same sex staff due to regulatory requirements.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
