Our ETL team develops pipelines to bring in data from across the community in development and production environments to support users across the globe.Responsibilities:You will be providing software development support in a secure environment utilizing a variety of language and platforms including:PostgreSQL/PostGIS database interactionMaintenance and development of a custom Python-based ETL frameworkScripting/automated gathering of new data sourcesMinimum Qualifications:Must be a U.S. citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.Bachelor's Degree in computer science, geography or related field or four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.8 years of relevant experienceExperience with PythonExperience in Bash scriptingKnowledge of SQL and relational databasesBasic knowledge of Qualifications:Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts.Experience with ESRI server and services in cloud environmentExperience with ESRI's ArcGIS Javascript API and/or other GIS software applicationsDevOps certificationUnderstanding of RESTExperience operating in AWS/C2SUnderstanding of SSL/TLSPay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role. The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $140,000.00 - $187,000.00 - $205,700.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
