Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a growing Hospital Medicine team in Southern Maine, with opportunities available in both a daytime admissions-focused role and a traditional inpatient Hospital Medicine role. Two Positions Available: Daytime Admissions APP: Full-time inpatient opportunity Daytime schedule with no overnight responsibilities Admissions-focused role supporting patient flow and timely patient evaluations Conduct comprehensive histories and physicals for new admissions Perform detailed clinical assessments and develop initial care plans Collaborate closely with attending physicians, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams Coordinate care transitions and discharge planning as appropriate Structured onboarding and mentorship program available Hospital Medicine APP: 0.8 FTE position with 12-hour shifts Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized adult patients Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds Assist with admissions, ongoing patient management, discharges, and care transitions Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, nursing staff, and case management teams Support hospital quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives Minimum of 2 years Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Acute Care, or inpatient experience required Shared Practice Environment: Collaborative physician-led Hospital Medicine team Strong specialty and ancillary support Modern facilities within a regional healthcare system serving more than 400,000 residents Opportunity to practice in a patient-centered, team-based environment Excellent professional growth opportunities within an expanding healthcare network Compensation & Benefits May Include: Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid malpractice coverage CME allowance and professional development support Generous paid time off and paid holidays Potential relocation assistance available Location & Lifestyle: Enjoy life in a welcoming Southern Maine community that offers an outstanding balance of career opportunity and quality of life.
