Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours), 19:00-7:00
• Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med/Surg units
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to offer acceptance
• Facility may consider contract lengths up to 20 weeks
