The Night Shift Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading all production activities during the assigned shift. This role oversees a team of operators and support staff, ensuring efficient operations, strong safety performance, and consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team to execute the production plan
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture , proactively addressing risks
- Partner with Maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and compliance
- Collaborate with Quality and Technical teams to meet production standards
- Drive efficiency, productivity, and cost control initiatives
- Address production issues, equipment challenges, and schedule changes in real time
- Foster a positive, communicative team environment that supports engagement
- Deliver strong internal and external service levels
- Develop team members and support career progression
- Minimum 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing, operations, or a similar environment
- Proven ability to lead teams and achieve performance goals
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communicator with a collaborative leadership style
- Safety-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
