Production Technician III, RNA Operations (Genomics Medicine)

Production Technician III role at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, focused on manufacturing oligonucleotides for therapeutic applications in Coralville, Iowa. Position involves synthesis, purification, formulation, and quality control of therapeutic oligos while maintaining cGMP compliance and FDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, purification, and formulation of oligonucleotides using various techniques
- Operate automated and manual lab equipment with limited maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure cGMP compliance, safety regulations, and contamination controls throughout manufacturing
- Complete manual batch records accurately and perform SAP transactions
- Organize and prioritize production workflow, including management duties when needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree in relevant scientific field or high school diploma with manufacturing experience
- Ability to work Monday–Thursday, 10am–9pm with schedule flexibility
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements and FDA Quality System Regulation
- Proficiency with automated and manual laboratory equipment
- Experience with batch record documentation and SAP transactions
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences (biology, biochemistry, chemistry) preferred
- Prior oligonucleotide manufacturing experience preferred
