X-Golf Commack is looking for a Cook (Expected 25-40 hrs per week primarily evenings and weekends)```Duties:```
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
-Wash plates / cups / dishes returned to kitchen
-Wash kitchen prep dishes
- Clean kitchen at end of shift ```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knife skills for food preparation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills -Suffolk County Food Manager or NYS Safe Serv Required Shifts: Weekday Evenings; Saturday / Sunday Daytime / Evening Hours will be 20-30 Hours in Summer Months; Full time November-April
