Urology Physician

We are seeking 1 Urologist for ongoing locum coverage in a high-volume clinic and call setting due to an open position with ongoing recruitment challenges.

• Setting: Clinic + Call

• Schedule:

  • Clinic: 8:00a 4:00p

  • Night Call: 5:00p 8:00a

  • 24-Hour Call: 7:00a 7:00a

  • Call rotation: 1:6

• Minimum Commitment: 3 months

• Coverage Pattern: 5 6 days of call plus clinic per month

• Future Availability: Beginning July, all weeks open

• Call schedules released approximately 1 month in advance

March: 2 6, 9 13
April: 1 3, 6 10
May: 4 8
June: 1 5, 8 12

• General urology care in clinic and on call

• Inpatient rounding required (hospitalist team admits)

• Average clinic volume: patients/day

• Surgical volume: cases/month

• Average callback: Weekdays 0.5 hr Weekends 2 hrs

• Bread-and-butter urology including:

  • Cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, TURP

  • Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL

  • Botox injections, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans

• Robotic system available (robotic procedures not required)

• EMR: Epic

• Support staff includes RNs, MA, surgery scheduler, and front office team

• Board Eligible or Board Certified

• BLS & DEA required

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
