Position Summary Under direction from the Cosmetics Selling Manager, the Beauty Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, building sales volumes for individual and vendor lines, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, collaborating with team members, and expanding Neiman Marcus accounts. The role focuses on in‑house training programs, pre‑booked facial consultation events, and maintaining a properly merchandised counter while closing retail sales. The Beauty Advisor drives their own business using Neiman Marcus's clienteling system. What You Will Do Model all Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank) Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event, and department sales goals Maintain a high level of customer service by creating and developing excellent customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative Serve as a positive liaison between Neiman Marcus and your designated Account Executive Use Neiman Marcus's online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences Provide an exceptional customer experience from approach, to application, to closing the sale and following up with the customer Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling area What You Will Bring Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer‑focused cosmetics environment Previously demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding quota Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with a high degree of multi‑tasking and minimal supervision Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Neiman Marcus Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive working environment focus Ability to work well with others and independently drive a successful business Sound business judgment and organizational ability Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills Your Life And Career At Neiman Marcus Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment during a time of growth and transformation Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities across the largest multi‑brand luxury retailer from retail to distribution, to digital or corporate Comprehensive benefits package for all eligible full‑time employees (including medical, vision, and dental) Employee discount Salary & Other Benefits Salary Range: $15.00 – $18.90 per hour. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include market, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
