You will also step into a leadership role in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelinesEnsure compliance with dietary restrictions and special diets, including modified texturesMaintain a safe, clean, and sanitary kitchen environmentFollow food safety, sanitation, and portion control standardsMonitor and record food temperaturesAssist with meal service and ensure appealing presentationMaintain sanitizer solutions and follow cleaning schedulesClean kitchen equipment, workspaces, and serving cartsCollaborate with dietary staff and other departmentsReport resident concerns to leadership as neededOversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary SupervisorQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GED preferredAt least 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term careUnderstanding of dietary restrictions and therapeutic dietsMust obtain and maintain ServSafe CertificationKnowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) preferredFriendly, professional demeanorStrong teamwork and communication skillsCompassion for an underserved populationWhy Join Fountain Inn Post Acute?At Fountain Inn, you’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team where your voice matters.
