Travel Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby Unit - Night Shift

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for our Mother/Baby unit. The candidate will provide high-quality care to new mothers and their infants, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and support breastfeeding, providing education on infant care.
• Perform circumcisions and ensure safety and health education for new parents.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Meditech / CPN.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of current Mother/Baby hospital experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Lactation and transitions experience preferred.
