Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to residents including helping residents bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding and meal time, and managing medications and assessing vital signs.This position complies with department and organization-wide policies, long-term care facility requirements, safety, and infection control, and all Federal and State of Nebraska regulations related to the performance of Heritage of Webster County operations and requirements of the compliance program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists residents with personal care activities.Provides companionship and basic emotional/psychological support.Monitors residents (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and reports on their conditions.Assists residents with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.Collects routine specimens.Documents treatment activity and summarizes progress for each.
