CDL Bus Driver We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Part Time Bus Driver to join our elite team in Lodi, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Pay & Benefits Pay: $22.15 - $24.96 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement) Starting pay $22.15 with progression to $24.96 over 4 years. Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours 1 Birthday Holiday 10 Holidays 401K plan Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Position Key Responsibilities Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. Exhibit exceptional passenger care, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, including seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications 21 years or older. Valid CDL Class B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement. Ability to obtain GPPV and VTT certification within the first 30 days of employment. Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs. Physical Requirements Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job performed outside, alone, and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces. Occasionally lift material weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to access files or equipment stored at ground level. Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
