Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Location: Carthage, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases. This role will involve managing a variety of medical conditions and collaborating with a compassionate team dedicated to quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the medical team
• Assist with daily activities and patient care
• Utilize electronic health records effectively
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families

Required Experience / Certifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience with IV, Foley catheters, and pain management
