Bachelors Degree - REQUIRED
Hours: daytime
Hourly rate: 29.85
Will assess families when we receive reports of abuse/neglect.
Upon receipt of report, meet with family and children to determine if any abuse/neglect is occurring.
Work with local law enforcement and other agencies on cases as needed
Refer children/families for services as needed (with some direction provided by a supervisor)
Assess homes for safety
If safety concerns found, locate other family or kin for possible supervision or placement of children. Assess those homes/people
If children have to be removed legally and taken into foster care, testify in court as to what took place
Document in GA Shines computer system
