Join our dynamic team as a General Manager at our newest Sales and Distribution Center in Bakersfield, California (We call them ExploreBases). We're looking for a visionary leader who can drive business success, lead our talented team, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

The General Manager reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer and is responsible for the daily oversight of the sales and operations for all sales centers within the region.

Sales Responsibilities:

• Sales and Revenue Goals: Create and execute strategic plans to exceed sales and revenue targets.
• Team Leadership: Direct the Regional Sales Manager in their daily tasks of maintaining and growing existing customer accounts. The Regional Sales Director and Sales Center Manager will report directly to the General Manager.
• Channel Management: Identify and develop channel partners to support business growth as directed by senior leadership.
• New Business Development: Coordinate the new business development team and new dealer onboarding.
• Customer Relations: Manage key customer relationships and develop strategic opportunities for growth.
• Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales performance reports to senior management.

Operations Responsibilities:

• Operations Leadership: Provide daily direction of the Sales Center Manager and their team, which could include Logistic Coordinators, Customer Service Staff, Yard/Warehouse staff, Delivery staff, and Independent Delivery Contractors.
• Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Operations Department to maintain optimal inventory levels, including pools, equipment, and auto covers, while also managing inventory security and condition.
• Budget Management: Oversee the annual sales and cost budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Manage P&L statement items, including regional payroll and expenses.
• Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with legal standards, including environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Yard and Logistical Operations: Manage all aspects of yard operations, from stock maintenance and quality control to the execution of the "Perfect Pool Program". Oversee logistical coordination, including the permitting process and delivery driver coordination.

Leadership and Development:

• Training and Development: Build, train, and mentor new and existing staff to promote continuous improvement.
• Performance Management: Set annual goals, manage employee KPIs, and conduct annual employee reviews

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in related roles, with at least 2 years in leadership/management positions.
• Skills: Strong leadership, sales, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Organization: Highly organized with a proactive approach to exceeding performance goals.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $185,000 base annually
• Actual compensation will be based on experience, job-related skills, and applicable geographic location.
