Role Description
Geophysical Data Processor and Analyst
Under direction of the Project Geophysicist, supports the remedial action project at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA, by performing data processing and analysis tasks using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, and Client software tools. The site is a formerly used defense site with potential unexploded ordnance contamination.
- Working side-by-side with our AGC data processing team, producing high-quality data for our client
- Demonstrating capabilities under Client DAGCAP program
- Processing, analyzing, and classifying advanced EMI instrument survey data using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, and Client software tools
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of munitions response geophysical work experience, including field experience with geophysical equipment and positioning systems
- Experience with BT Field or EM Class geophysical data processing software
- Four-year degree in geophysics or related field
- Good writing and oral communication skills
Requirements
- Experience collecting data with AGC sensors (MetalMapper2x2, MPV, APEX or UltraTEM)
- DAGCAP Certification for Data Processing and Classification
- Experience processing LiDAR datasets including for SLAM positioning
- Experience developing and modifying scripts to streamline processing workflows
- Experience developing data processing tools and algorithms in Python or other languages

- Shift: Mon-Fri -- 8am-5pm (or) 9/80 schedule (w/every other Fri off)
- Duration: Temp ONLY -- thru April 30, 2027
- Pay Rate: $41-48/hr on w2.
