Senior Radiology Technologist Contract: Providence Valdez Medical Center, Valdez, AK. Employment Types Regular status employment: full time hours, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week ($15,000 Hiring Bonus for external hires, and Relocation Assistance for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment) Temporary status employment: full time hours, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week (Temporary, no bonus or relocation assistance) Job Description The Radiology/CT technologist performs all clinical tests listed in the radiology methods manual with thorough understanding of Quality Control limits, reporting, etc., and takes an active role in the responsible operation of the radiology department. Performs computerized tomographic scanner procedures using a variety of radiologic equipment. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduated from an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 1 year of hire National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 2 years of Experience as a Radiology Technologist. Benefits & Compensation Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
