Responsibilities
- Apply aseptic technique to equipment preparation, maintenance, and assistance during endoscopic procedures; monitor for potential compromises to sterile/High-Level Disinfectant integrity.
- Disassemble, identify defective or malfunctioning parts, and perform preventive maintenance for procedure supplies and equipment.
- Conduct all pre-cleaning, cleaning, high-level disinfection (HLD), leak testing, and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessories per regulatory standards; store and inventory reprocessed equipment.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines to determine appropriate High-Level Disinfection methods and verify calibration of equipment according to protocol.
- Assist with ambulatory technician duties as assigned, including obtaining and documenting vital signs and transporting patients as needed.
- Collaborate with the procedural team to support safe, efficient GI/endoscopy workflows.

Requirements
- Experience: 2 years as an Endoscopy Tech or GI Lab Tech; travel experience required
- Certifications: High-Level Disinfection (HLD) certification highly encouraged
- Licensure: None required
- Education: Relevant clinical education for endoscopy and reprocessing practices
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment
