Senior Field Property Adjuster - Multi-Peril Claims, Florida

In addition to the mandatory requirements described for Adjuster II, Adjuster III must meet all of the following qualifications: Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience adjusting multi-peril property losses in a field environment; and, Field experience handling total property loss claims Knowledge of Florida property claims law and jurisdictional issues including but not limited to application of local building codes and condominium statutes; Physical ability to climb roofs, enter crawl spaces, and perform other physical acts necessary to provide the Services (unless exclusively performing Desk Adjusting Services); Ability to investigate, document, scope, and estimate damages per IRG’ guidelines; Proficiency in the review, preparation, and evaluation of scope of damage and dollar estimates utilizing the estimating platform currently in use by IRG; Ability to reconcile, negotiate, and settle claims with policyholder and/or their representative; Ability to research, analyze, and interpret policy language and Florida State law as it applies to assigned claims; Possess strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to maintain file quality in accordance with IRG’ Best Claims Practices & Estimating Guidelines; Ability to properly submit Vendor invoices to IRG in a timely manner; Ability to analyze claims and evaluate relevant issues with the processes established by IRG Subrogation, Salvage, and Special Investigation work units; Ability to evaluate and negotiate claim settlements; Strong caseload management skills to include preparing reports and monitoring activities of experts when necessary; and, Ability to represent IRG in claim adjudication, hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and other court proceedings. #J-18808-Ljbffr Integrated Responders Group
