A well-known company that manufactures safety equipment for high-risk environments is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their team. If you enjoy designing new products, working directly with manufacturing teams, and solving real-world engineering challenges on the shop floor, this could be an exceptional opportunity for you!

This company has been in business for over 30 years manufacturing safety equipment mainly for job sites with the risk of injuries and accidents. They pride themselves on protecting workers, workplaces, and the environment.

This is a direct-hire position where you'll support new product development, collaborate closely with production teams, and play a key role in improving products and manufacturing processes. This opportunity offers strong visibility within the organization and the chance to grow alongside a rebuilding Product & Engineering team.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and model new products using SolidWorks while supporting projects from concept through production launch
• Partner with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement product and process improvements
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and engineering change activities
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams on new and existing products
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, manufacturability, and cost reduction

Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift (approximately 7:00am – 4:00pm)

Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
• 3–5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong CAD experience, including SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software
• Experience supporting product design and development from concept through production
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing environments, including fabrication, machining, prototyping, welding, tooling, or shop floor support

Compensation:

$85,000 - $120,000/yr. 10% annual bonus potential
