We are seeking three experienced Special Education Teachers for an on-site contract position from August 19, 2026, through June 14, 2027. These opportunities offer the chance to collaborate with dedicated teams and deliver essential services at both the high school and elementary levels.

Qualifications & Endorsements:

• Active Professional Vermont Teaching License with one or more of the following:
  • Special Educator Endorsement
  • Special Education Consulting Teacher Endorsement
  • Intensive Special Education Teacher Endorsement
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities, including Autism, executive function challenges, behavioral needs, and/or learning differences.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and adapt teaching strategies to fit diverse student needs.
• Fingerprinting required (currently approved fingerprints from recent school assignments accepted).

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• 35-hour workweek providing specialized instruction and support.
• At Springfield High School: Teach in a pilot program (2 positions) serving students with executive function challenges, Autism, and significant behaviors; some students attend a tech center focused on real-world job skills.
• In the elementary building (1 position): Serve as part of a close-knit team, supporting students with learning disabilities and high-functioning Autism, with the added benefit of PT/OT support.
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education programs.
• Collaborate closely with other educators, families, and related services staff.
• Foster a learning environment that prepares students for both academic growth and real-world success.
