Mills Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated Used Car Acquisition Manager to join our team in Pineville, NC. This role is critical in sourcing quality used vehicles that meet our inventory needs and align with the company’s goals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for market trends, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. Responsibilities Identify and acquire quality used vehicles from various sources including auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers. Develop and maintain relationships with sellers, dealers, and wholesalers to secure the best pricing and inventory. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards. Analyze market trends and competitor inventories to make informed acquisition decisions. Collaborate with sales and reconditioning teams to optimize inventory turnover and profitability. Manage budgets and maintain accurate records of all acquisitions and related transactions. Requirements Proven experience in used car acquisition, automotive sales, or related field. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of the used car market and vehicle appraisal techniques. Ability to analyze market data and inventory performance.
