RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year License: Active State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab Required certifications in ACLS and BLS Ability to be on-call for 1 week in 4 Description:Position available for a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.The role involves working with adult patients requiring cardiac care.Expected staffing ratios will be 1:4.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Weekend coverage is required.No floating to sister facilities is necessary.Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital to meet facility needs.Candidates may be asked to comply with additional block scheduling.Local candidates may apply.Pending state licenses are not accepted.Candidates must have the ability to adhere to one request for time off.Guaranteed hours will be 40 per week.Special requirements include current certifications in BLS and ACLS.Experience in various cardiac procedures is a plus, including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and interventional cardiology.Candidates should have experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner or McKesson.The patient population will primarily consist of adults with cardiac diseases and related conditions.The unit is equipped with advanced procedures and equipment.Daily census is estimated to be between 12-15 patients.The unit will have a structured support system with interdisciplinary teams.All candidates must be tobacco-free, as any positive nicotine screen will result in cancellation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
