Quality Control Lab Assistant

The Quality Control Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations, product quality assurance, and production processes. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining sample organization, assisting with testing preparation, ensuring accurate documentation, and helping to uphold cleanliness and efficiency within the lab and production environment. The role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and interested in supporting quality assurance processes in a production environment. - Oversee batch retain sample management - Maintain the finished product retention sample program (includes operating a pallet jack) - Conduct flavor retrieval and testing - Prepare water ice and support syrup sensory setup - Prepare weight sheets for upcoming production runs - Maintain lab cleanliness and assist with general housekeeping duties and supplies - Support production by verifying floor scales to ensure accuracy and compliance - Cross-train on basic QC tasks to provide coverage as needed, including data entry, sample preparation for viscosity testing, bake tests, & outbound product quality checks Requirements - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records - Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Benefits - Weekly pay with direct deposit - Health insurance - Various supplemental insurance policies available after 90-day introductory period - Life insurance available after completion of 90-day introductory period - 401-K retirement plan available after one year of employment - Option to participate in uniform program - Annual bonus incentives
