Part Time Labor - Recycling

Job Description

Job Overview:

The part-time labor position at the recycling center is to assist the public with their recycled materials in a drive through environment.

Specific Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe, efficient facility
Provide excellent customer service to the public
Operate forklift, box truck, balers and grinders
Assisting other areas with any needs, requests, or complaints
All other duties as assigned

Worker Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to comprehend, retain, and carry out instructions
Able to work with unclean materials
Able to multitask

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Capable of performing physical labor, some of which can be demanding
Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, and reach for items (may be repetitive motions)
Able to lift, push/pull a weight of up to 50lbs+
Withstand exposure variable temperatures (including extreme hot/cold)
Perform job around various elements (i.e., animals, dust, and allergens
