An RN Fellow at Providence St Joseph Health will experience a guided transition into their new specialty through structured curriculum, experienced preceptors and hands-on learning. Position Details The position starts August 24, 2026 Day shift available Role Overview The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager provides professional, comprehensive, patient centric care management services for at risk patients in an acute care environment. Accountabilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management and/ or review, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance and patient advocacy. The goal of the Inpatient Care Management RN is to ensure the use of appropriate healthcare resources throughout the continuum, so that the care provided is the right care, at the right time, in the right setting. Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing degree/diploma upon hire California Registered Nurse License upon hire Successful completion of TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program within 1 year of hire. 2 years of Acute care experience in a Medical Surgical or Inpatient setting. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher within 3 years of hire Case Management Certification (ACM or CCM) upon hire Why Join Providence?
