Summary:

**Required Experience and Certifications:** - 1 to 2 years of experience required. - Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - Missouri or Compact License. - Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry on the unit monitoring, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath. **Preferred Experience and Skills:** - Previous charge experience preferred. - Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred. - Skills: Sheath Removal, Feeding tube care and management, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management. **Additional Details:** - Experience with charting system Epic is noted. - Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs, not assigned a home unit. - Will float between roughly 5 units and may be required to float to other Metro campuses as needed, hence needs both Kansas and Missouri or Compact in hand at submission. - Weekend shifts required: minimum of 8 weekend shifts every six weeks. - On-call not required. - Flu Vaccine Required: Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. - Must adhere to specific compliance and tenure policies, including document deadlines and module completions prior to start date.
