Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess pediatric patients with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, fine motor challenges, and other functional deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory integration, integration of primitive reflexes, and adaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with families to provide education and home programs that support therapy goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and insurance requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings with speech therapy and other professionals as needed.
• Monitor patient progress sand adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards set by AOTA and state licensing board.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license and NBCOT certification
• Pediatric experience preferred
• New graduates may be considered

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and adapt therapy techniques to individual needs.
• Familiarity with feeding therapy and primitive reflex integration is a plus but not required.
