PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the set up, maintenance and operation of the bar.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive drink orders from patrons.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes. Serve wine and bottled beer or draw draft beer from kegs.
- Ring drink orders into register, collect money from patrons for drinks served and make change.
- Requisition liquors, other beverages and supplies as needed.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display and merchandise drinks.
- May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Conform to the regulations of the alcohol beverage authority.
- Implements and enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of bar areas.
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
- Responsible for inventory counts and balancing of the stand sheets at the end of the night.
