Diesel Reefer Mechanic Technician

Diesel Reefer Mechanic/Technician: Up to $35+/hour With potential to make more based on experience!! Transervice Logistics awarded Winner of 2025 Best Places to Work. Responsibilities This position requires experience in Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units. As a Diesel Reefer Mechanic, you will perform all levels of maintenance services, with the primary focus on refrigeration units such as Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers. Be able to test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic test equipment. Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment. Identify warrantable repairs and document orders. Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance as required. Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications. Perform system repairs to include engines, hydraulic systems, tires, electrical and A/C. Disability. Reefer Mechanic/Technician Requirements Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Must have experience as a reefer or Thermo King/Carrier mechanic. Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components required. CDL license preferred. High school diploma or GED. Ability to read, write and speak English. Basic math skills. Strong diagnostic skills. Knowledge of hydraulics. Own set of tools. Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
