Respiratory Care Practitioner

Role Overview The Associate Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care, performing duties independently in accordance with departmental policies. They collaborate with Physicians and Nurses to develop and implement patient care plans, assist with delivery and management of ventilatory support systems, monitoring devices, and diagnostic procedures. The role involves operating complex respiratory equipment, assessing patients, and supporting resuscitation efforts, along with other qualified patient care functions. Completion of orientation programs is required to ensure proficiency. Qualifications & Skills Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an AMA-accredited program Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association CRT with less than 5 years' experience must obtain RRT within 6 months; or 5+ years CRT without RRT requirement Key Duties Perform respiratory assessments and procedures Operate and maintain ventilatory support and monitoring systems Assist physicians with respiratory therapies and patient assessments Adhere to hospital policies and collaborate with healthcare team members Complete required orientation and training #J-18808-Ljbffr
