RN - Electrophysiology

Contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab. The role requires day shift hours, specifically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Four day shifts are required, with no call or weekend shifts expected. The unit consists of 6 Electrophysiology Labs and a total of 25 staff members. The staffing includes 18 lab staff members on day shift, along with a charge nurse and three patient care technicians. Typical patient ratios and equipment include mapping systems from various manufacturers. Experience with biosense mapping systems and Meditech electronic medical records is beneficial. Common procedures performed in this unit include ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart procedures. Candidates must possess flexibility to adapt to daily case fluctuations and changes. Successful teamwork and cohesiveness with colleagues is crucial. The required dress code consists of blue scrubs, which are provided by the facility. Additional enticing factors may include new equipment or technology and the experience level of the team.
