Automotive Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Representative to join our team. Our dealership specializes in the sale of trucks, vans, and SUVs , and we are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs.

Automotive sales experience is preferred but not required . We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional sales experience
• Identify customers' needs and help them find vehicles that fit their budget and lifestyle
• Present and demonstrate available trucks, vans, and SUVs
• Conduct vehicle test drives and explain vehicle features and options
• Answer customer questions and provide accurate information about vehicles, pricing, and financing options
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process
• Follow up with customers by phone, text, email, and other appropriate methods
• Negotiate vehicle purchases while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
• Work closely with management and the sales team to complete transactions
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Stay knowledgeable about current inventory, vehicle features, pricing, and promotions
• Meet individual sales goals while contributing to overall team performance

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or sales experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn vehicle features, pricing, and sales processes
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable working in a commission-based sales environment

Compensation
