Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Certified Surgical Technician IIAssist with room set up. Work with surgeons to determine needed supplies, instruments and/or equipment for cases and communicate to team. Assist with circulating duties. Ensure proper maintenance, care, and cleanliness of instruments, supplies, and equipment. Assist with end of case room clean-up. Prepare equipment for sterilization and proper labeling. Assist with transport of patients as needed. Function as a preceptor for surgical tech students and newly employed techs. Participate in Quality Improvement projects as needed.Experience: Graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology. Surgical Technology certification exam preferred.
