We're looking for a dynamic Corporate Counsel to join our team and provide legal guidance across a wide range of business activities. In this role, you'll help us navigate evolving laws and regulations, manage risk, resolve disputes, and craft smart contracts that protect and support our growth. You'll work closely with leadership, regulators, and external partners—turning legal insight into strategic advantage. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong grasp of compliance, investigations, and the FCRA, we'd love to hear from you!What You'll Do:Provide practical legal advice and strategic support on a wide range of business, regulatory, and compliance matters.Collaborate with internal teams at all levels to assess risk, resolve issues, and support business goals.Draft, negotiate, and finalize sales agreements, contracts, and other documents to protect the company and contribute to its success.Review current and monitor changing laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.Who You Are:Law degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive Bar membership in the United States with no record of disciplineFive (5) to eight (8) years of relevant legal experience (firm or in-house)Litigation management experience in both state and federal courtWorking knowledge of or the ability to learn rules and regulations such as the FCRA, privacy rules and regulations, payment processing rules and regulations, and moreBasic understanding of or the ability to learn about software development, complex relational databases, cloud computing, and software-as-a-service (SaaS)Highest level of professional ethics and personal integrity and sound judgmentSuperlative oral and written communication skillsStrong and demonstrated ability to work individually and as a team, including under pressure, with minimal direct supervision and while managing many competing prioritiesInterest in learning and analyzing complex statutes (including the FCRA), case law, and other primary and secondary sources and ability to provide clear and sound conclusions and recommendationsProficiency with Adobe Acrobat®, Microsoft® Word, and Outlook, and ability to learn and use proprietary customer/matter management softwareFriendly, collegial, and collaborative dispositionAbility to travel up to 20%Ideal to Have:Risk assessment and management experience a plusFamiliarity working with software developers a plusSoftware licensing agreement drafting and negotiation experience a plusReal Estate runs on Yardi.
