Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time, 26-week travel contract in an award-winning Level II Trauma Center in Topeka, Kansas. This role involves working in an acute care hospital setting, providing care to a diverse patient population including general medicine, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, and joint replacement cases.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

• Provide patient care and evaluations during scheduled shifts
• Perform chart reviews and schedule planning
• Participate in daily huddles and workflow coordination
• Work with physical therapists during orientation for workflow optimization
• Assist with late joint cases on a rotational basis

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Occupational Therapist (OT) license - KSBHA required
• NBCOT certification preferred
• BLS AHA certification required within the first 90 days if not already certified
• Experience in acute care hospital settings
• No first-time travelers
