Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant specializing in Cardiology, where your energetic support and compassionate patient care will make a meaningful difference. In this vital role, you will work closely with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional outpatient services. Your expertise will help streamline patient intake, assist with diagnostic procedures, and ensure smooth clinical operations within a fast-paced, high-quality medical environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a vibrant, patient-centered setting dedicated to cardiovascular health.
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll support our NPs working remotely and cardiologists by:
Preparing patients for telehealth visits
Managing pre- and post-visit workflows
Ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
Verify visit readiness
Assist with medication reviews
Coordinate testing and referrals
Facilitate communication across teams to deliver seamless care.

Requirements
Proven experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with familiarity in cardiology or related specialties such as internal medicine or geriatrics.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to cardiovascular health.
Demonstrated ability to perform intake assessments, monitor vital signs accurately, and support medication administration protocols.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance standards.
Ability to thrive in fast-outpatient settings.
