Corporate M&A Associate (Mid-Senior Level)

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a mid-senior level Associate in our Corporate Practice. This is a location flexible position primarily working with attorneys in the Corporate practices of our Tampa and Fort Lauderdale offices. Consideration will be given to interested candidates across multiple East Coast office locations, with this team frequently working across the GT platform. GT is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100; the associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.Job Requirements:The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on public M&A, take-private transactions and general corporate governance.Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A transactions and proficiency in drafting the same. Candidates should be well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing and have experience leading due diligence teams. This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility, work independently and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have the ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas.
