Our direct client has an opening for a Security Architect 10945-1

This position is up to 6 months, with the option of extension, and is in Columbia, SC

Corp to Corps are NOT allowed for this client. W2 Only.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position will be responsible for developing architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, compliance decisions, support migration of on-prem applications and services to Azure. 
• This position would mentor architects and engineering staff while staying up to date on all technical developments related to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent
• Equivalent years of experience can be substituted for formal education (5+ years’ experience)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft azure certifications
• Azure administrator
• Windows server hybrid administrator associate
• Identity and access administrator associate
• MS SQL Server 2014 No 2 Advanced Within 6 Months 4 - 6 Years 
• SQL Server No 2 Advanced Within 6 Months 4 - 6 Years 
• SonicWall firewall Yes 1 Expert Currently Using 4 - 6 Years 
• Cisco - Firewalls Yes 1 Expert Currently Using 4 - 6 Years 
• JUNIPER FIREWALLS Yes 1 Expert Currently Using 4 - 6 Years 
• Azure Power Platform Yes 1 Lead Currently Using 4 - 6 Years 
• Firewall Yes 1 Expert Currently Using 4 - 6 Years 
• Azure Cloud and Virtualization Yes 1 Lead Currently Using 4 - 6 Years
