Job Title Adjunct Instructor - English Agency Department CASE - Humanities (English, MC, History) Location Texarkana, Texas Job Type Faculty (part-time adjunct) Job Description The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) occasionally has openings for part‑time adjunct instructors appointed on a per semester basis. Candidates will be added to a pool for selection as needed for Fall2026, Spring2027, and/or Summer2027. Duties Teach English course(s) in one or more of the following modalities: face‑to‑face, web‑enhanced, hybrid, or online. Conduct courses on a 5‑week, 8‑week, 10‑week, or 16‑week term, depending on the semester. Coordinate course administrative duties, including grading student work, loading course content (assessments, lecture modules), meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner, and meeting census and grade deadlines. Perform any additional administrative duties as required. Qualifications Undergraduate level courses: Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate‑level credit hours; degree and coursework from a regionally accredited institution. Graduate level courses: Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate‑level credit hours; degree and coursework from a regionally accredited institution. Compensation $2,400 per undergraduate section taught with a master’s degree; $2,900 per undergraduate section taught with a PhD. $3,100 per graduate section taught with a master’s degree; $3,600 per graduate section taught with a PhD.
