This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating room setting, focusing on delivering high-quality services through the nursing process. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory guidelines, supporting the organizations mission and operational policies. Job Details Position Description: Delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS; Education Requirements: State license in Michigan; Experience: 2 years in operating room specialty; Location Requirements: Michigan; Years of Experience: 2 years; Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Previous operating room circulating experience, PACU experience, and experience with orthopedics, OB-GYN, and general surgery. Urology and ophthalmic experience are also preferred. Additional Information: Prior travel experience is preferred. On-call requirements include 10-11 days per month.
