Certified Surg TechJob Title: Surgical TechProfession: Surgical ServicesSpecialty: OR Tech / Surgical TechDuration: 13 weeksShift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 19:15)Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferredLicense: CA state license preferred, pending license acceptedCertifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSAMust-Have: Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma - Travel experience required - Previous charge experienceDescription: Start date: ASAP First time traveler: No Daily census: 25 patients with 8 operating rooms Weekend requirements: As needed by the unit On-call duty: Required Float: Required Charting system experience preferred Skills required include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Abdominal hysterectomy, ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion), Amputations, Anterior cervical fusion, Appendectomy, Arthroscopy, Aseptic technique, Breast augmentation, Carotid Endarterectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection (Open/LAP), Craniotomy, Endoscopic sinus procedures, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, General OR, Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), Kidney procedures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Laparoscopic procedures, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Radical neck dissection, Suture removal, Total hip replacement, Total knee replacement, Trauma, Ureteroscopy, Vaginal hysterectomy Additional requirements include experience with case cart management, crash cart, and essential surgical equipment. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as required. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. The position may require coverage of night shifts as needed. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. References required covering experience within the last 3 years. Communication devices necessary for job performance will be provided by the client. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless an interview has been scheduled. Modules and training required prior to start will be accounted for in hours worked.
