LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Description Job Summary: Provide professional nursing care to patients in a general surgery outpatient setting, supporting surgeons and healthcare providers with clinical tasks and patient management. Demonstrate competence in triaging, patient assessment, and procedural assistance to ensure quality care. Responsibilities: Perform patient rooming, triaging new and follow-up patients via phone and in person. Collect and review reports from outside sources when necessary. Support wound care including suture removal and dressing changes as ordered by providers. Complete FMLA, Disability, and other patient paperwork accurately and efficiently. Assist in in-office procedures and support clinical needs in collaboration with the healthcare team. Provide front desk support for clinically related patient issues and ensure smooth workflow. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Possess a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. Have at least one year of nursing experience preferred. Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles, patient safety, and medical terminology. Be familiar with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
