Job Title: Financial Analyst II (Reconciliations) – Payment Processing
Location: Hagerstown, MD (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12-months Contract to hire
Pay Rate: $29/hour (W2)
Job Overview:
Client is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support debit and credit payment reconciliation operations. In this role, you'll analyze financial transactions, reconcile payment data, and investigate discrepancies using mainframe reports and Excel. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in financial reconciliations, banking operations, or the payments industry.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily reconciliations for debit and credit card transactions (Visa, Mastercard, ACH, Wire).
Review mainframe reports and Excel data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Reconcile incoming and outgoing payment activity.
Process financial adjustments and maintain accurate reconciliation records.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely settlements.
Support daily balancing and cash reporting activities.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with financial/account reconciliations or banking operations.
Understanding of payment processing, ACH, Wire, debit/credit card transactions, or bank settlements.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis.
Comfortable working with mainframe systems or large financial datasets.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite in Hagerstown, MD and support early morning operations.

100% onsite role
