The Role

As Tax Director, you will play a key leadership role in managing client relationships, overseeing complex tax engagements, and mentoring staff. You’ll work closely with firm leadership and have a direct impact on both client outcomes and internal team development.

This role offers a defined path to Partner for the right individual , with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in client development, firm strategy, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review complex tax engagements across individuals and entities
• Manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses
• Oversee preparation and review of 1040s, partnership returns, and related filings
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff
• Collaborate with leadership on firm initiatives and client growth

Client Exposure

What They’re Looking For

• 6–10+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong background in individual and partnership taxation
• Proven ability to manage client relationships
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
• CPA preferred
