divh2Baker - Indian Pueblo Kitchen/h2pResponsible for preparing baked goods and pastry items from the menu./ppEssential Duties Responsibilities/ppFood Preparation Baking/pulliPrepare oven bread and fry bread daily for the restaurant, events, and retail sales./liliAssist in preparing the kitchen for daily breakfast and lunch service by stocking the line with the appropriate quantities of food./liliPrepare weekly baked goods, including pies, breads, cookies, and cakes./liliEnsure all food items are prepared fresh and served at the proper temperatures./li/ulpEquipment Operation Maintenance/pulliOperate food preparation machinery such as slicers, mincers, can openers, fryers, and ovens./liliReport any equipment malfunctions promptly to the Kitchen Manager./li/ulpTeamwork Kitchen Support/pulliAssist other kitchen staff as needed upon managements request./liliMaintain good communication with co-workers and foster a positive and professional work environment./li/ulpThis list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive./ppMinimum Qualifications/ppOne year of experience in the baking or kitchen/food preparation field. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Native American preference will be given./ppKnowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications/pulliKnowledge of food preparation methods and techniques./liliKnowledge of the operation of food preparation equipment and machinery./liliKnowledge of the operation of holding ovens and baking ovens./liliKnowledge of Native American dishes./liliAbility to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with supervisor and fellow employees./liliAbility to work in a busy, fast-paced work environment and to perform in a professional appearance and manner./liliAbility to work well under pressure./li/ul/div
