Assistant Executive Steward

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking an Assistant Executive Steward to support and manage back-of-house kitchen operations. This role is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, overseeing stewarding staff, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient kitchen support for all food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily stewarding operations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising stewarding team members, managing inventory, monitoring labor, supplies, and operating costs, ensuring proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, identifying and implementing process improvements, partnering with culinary leadership, and enforcing safety standards.

Qualifications include ServSafe Manager Certification, previous leadership experience, strong knowledge of sanitation and safety standards, experience with inventory management, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver's license, and ability to work flexible schedules.
