We are a global company headquartered in New York, with offices in Chicago, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.Responsibilities and duties (includes but not limited to):Translate business requirements into architectureConvert availability, performance, and regulatory needs into technical designsCreate HLDs depicting Logical Architecture and Traffic flowDefine design principles with focus on scalability, resilience, simplicity and standardizationStrategize on methods to improve overall network infrastructure with a low-latency profileDesign and deploy customer networks with automation, security, and operability as focusEvaluate vendors, platforms, and protocols for long-term fitSupport internal and external customer facing issues as a point of escalationGenerate, Follow Up, and Complete tickets for internal projects and customersConstruct valid configurations for implementation based upon design and/or technical conceptsImplement critical configuration changes as required through established change control processes and systems with little to no guidanceParticipate in daily meetings to review changes and underlying impactsEducation, Skills and background (incl. Education and Experience Requirements)10-14 years of experience working on network equipment in an ISP style environment or a large NOC7-10 years of experience with Fortinet, Arista, and/or Cisco hardware and softwareCCIE or JNCIE certified or equivalent level of knowledgeExpert understanding and deployment experience in the following technologies:IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP)Firewalls (VPNs, Policies)Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF)Multicast Routing (IGMP, PIM)NAT (Static, Dynamic)Network Sniffers (TCP/IP Analysis)NTP, PTP and Network TimingAbility to analyse and diagnose problems and lead system recovery effectivelyClear verbal and written communicatorCapable of prioritizing and managing own workloadSelf-motivatedCapable of working with little supervisionCreative thinker with out of the box ideasKeen to contribute ideas, share knowledge, and help others developInterested in cutting edge technologyDriven to develop own skills and knowledgeScripting in Bash or PythonFamiliarity with LinuxUnderstanding of JIRA as a ticketing systemWorking ArrangementsThis is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent.
